BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Fluorite, also known as fluorite, is the only mineral that can extract large amounts of fluorine. Calcium fluoride is the main component of fluorite, chemical formula CaF2, colorless cubic crystal or white powder. As a Fluorite developer and supplier, we supply Fluorite from Mongolia and China. At present, the output of fluorite mine in my country is stable, and the calcium fluoride content is as high as 97%.
TECHNICAL INDICATORS
Analysis | Requirement |
CaF2 | ≥ 97 |
SiO2 | ≤ 1.5% |
CaCO3 | ≤ 0.5 % |
Particle size | Size: 5*60mm, maximum 15% of 9mm sieve waste. |
USE
1. Chemical industry
Fluorite has important uses in the chemical industry and can be used to produce hydrofluoric acid, fluorine, etc. Half of the world's fluorspar production is used to produce hydrofluoric acid.
2. Building materials industry
Fluorite is mainly used as a flux and opacifier in the building materials industry. It can be added to building materials such as glass, ceramics and cement to promote the melting of glass and other materials.
3. Cement industry
Fluorite is added as a mineralizing agent in cement production, which can lower the sintering temperature of the charge and reduce fuel consumption. It can also enhance the liquid phase viscosity of the clinker during sintering and promote the formation of tricalcium silicate.
4. Ceramic industry
In the ceramic industry, fluorite is mainly used as enamel. It can play a color and fluxing role in the production process of enamel. For example, adding dong stone to red enamel can make the color bright and bright.
5. Aluminum smelting industry
Fluorite is used in the aluminum smelting industry to produce artificial cryolite and can be added directly to molten electrolyte.
6. Medical field
Fluorite is widely used in the medical field. As an X-ray contrast agent, it can make images of certain tissues and organs clearer.
7. Steel industry
The main use of fluorspar in the steel industry is as a cosolvent in iron and steelmaking, and it can also be used as a casting agent in electric furnaces.
8. Aerospace field
Fluorite contains a lot of fluorine elements and can produce hydrofluoric acid. The main component of jet aircraft liquid propellant and missile jet fuel propellant is hydrofluoric acid, so fluorite ore is widely used in the aerospace field.
9. Fire extinguishing agent
Fluorite can be used as a fire extinguishing agent because its components are stable at room temperature and can act quickly in fires, effectively mitigating smoke and flames at fire scenes.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
1. Avoid strong light exposure
The luminescent properties of fluorite are easily affected by ultraviolet rays and strong light, so direct sunlight and strong light exposure should be avoided during storage.
2. Avoid exposure to air
Fluorite easily reacts with water vapor and oxygen in the air, causing its color to change and also weakening its luminous properties. Therefore, exposure to air should be avoided as much as possible during storage.
3. Storage temperature is stable
Fluorite should be stored in a place with stable temperature and should not be stored in high or low temperature environments. The ideal storage temperature should be between 5℃ and 25℃.
PACKAGE
1. Tons packaging.
2. Carry out other forms of packaging according to customer needs.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
Fluorite is often green, blue, purple or colorless, and can appear in almost any color. It can fade when heated; white streaks; glass luster. Hardness 4, brittle. Fluorescent. Insoluble in water, soluble in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hot hydrochloric acid, boric acid and hypochlorous acid.
