BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Fluorobenzene, commonly abbreviated as PhF, is an organic compound that is a benzene derivative with a fluorine atom directly attached to the benzene ring. Its melting point is -44°C, lower than that of benzene. This is because the fluorine substituent disrupts the symmetry of the benzene ring, preventing the molecule from stacking and crystallizing as well as unsubstituted benzene. In contrast, its boiling point differs by only 4°C from that of benzene.

Purpose (USE)
This product is mainly used as a raw material for the production of antipsychotic drugs such as fluazifop, daropentamycin, trifluoperidol, trifluoperidol, penfluridol, and quinolone drugs such as ciprofloxacin. It is also used for the identification of pesticides, insecticides, and plastics and resin polymers. The condensation of fluorobenzene with γ-chlorobutyryl chloride can produce γ-chloro-p-fluorophenylbutyrone.
It is also used to synthesize haloperidol, the most commonly used drug among the butyrophenone antipsychotic drugs. It is mainly used to prepare antipsychotic drugs such as haloperidol, and is also used as an insecticide and for the identification of plastics and resin polymers.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
1.Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place.

3.Keep the container tightly closed and store away from acids, metal powders, etc.
