Hydrogen peroxide
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Hydrogen peroxide is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula H 2 O₂, a relative molecular mass of 34.02, a colorless liquid, a relative density of 1.465g/cm³, a melting point of -1°C, and a boiling point of 150.2°C. Pure hydrogen peroxide is easily decomposed into water and oxygen. It is relatively stable in the dark, but decomposition will be accelerated when exposed to light or impurities. A small amount of acid, sodium stannate, sodium pyrophosphate, ethanol, acetanilide or acetoethoxyaniline can increase its stability.

USE
2.Hydrogen peroxide is also used to make inorganic and organic peroxides such as sodium perborate, sodium percarbonate, peracetic acid, and sulfur peroxide, and as a catalyst for polymer polymerization reactions.
3.Hydrogen peroxide is also used to produce pesticide 401 resistance and thiram insecticide.
4.It can be used to remove iron when purifying inorganic salts; it can remove inorganic impurities in the electroplating solution to improve the quality of the plated parts.
5.High concentrations (above 90%) of hydrogen peroxide mixed with certain combustible materials can be used to make explosives.
6.In modern high-energy technology, it has been used as a high-energy oxidizer and single-component fuel for rocket fuel.
7.Dilute hydrogen peroxide solution can be used as a disinfectant, bactericide and deodorant in medicine. 30% hydrogen peroxide solution is often used as an oxidant in laboratories.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
1.Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated dedicated warehouse.
2.Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 30℃ and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%.
3.Keep container sealed.
4.It should be stored separately from flammable (combustible) materials, reducing agents, active metal powders, etc. and should not be mixed.
5.The storage area should be equipped with emergency leakage treatment equipment and appropriate containment materials.
PACKAGE
2.Other forms of packaging can be provided according to customer needs.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
2.Hydrogen peroxide can be used as an oxidant, bleaching agent, disinfectant, dechlorinating agent, and is also used to make rocket fuel, peroxides, foam plastics, etc. Hydrogen peroxide is also used in the production of inorganic and organic peroxides such as sodium perborate and peracetic acid.
3.Hydrogen peroxide is used in clinical chemical analysis to indirectly determine substrates, enzymes, activators or inhibitors. Dilute hydrogen peroxide solution can be used as a disinfectant, bactericide and deodorant in medicine. 30% hydrogen peroxide solution is often used as an oxidant in laboratories.
4.Hydrogen peroxide is weakly acidic and can react with alkali to form metal peroxides. Aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide can be prepared by reacting barium peroxide with dilute H₂SO₄ .
5.Hydrogen peroxide has poor stability and decomposes slowly at low temperatures. It can decompose violently when heated to above 153°C, releasing a large amount of heat. The presence of MnO2 and many heavy metal ions such as iron, manganese, and copper ions catalyzes its decomposition.
