On July 29, 2025, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) hosted three international industry events: the Shanghai International Energy Storage Technology Exhibition, the China International Semiconductor Technology Exhibition, and the China International Battery Thin Film Industry Exhibition. Held together for the first time, the three exhibitions attracted over 1,500 companies from around the world and attracted over 40,000 professional visitors on the first day, making it one of the largest high-end manufacturing technology cluster exhibitions in the Yangtze River Delta region .

01 Battery Film Exhibition: New Materials Driving the Energy Revolution
In the battery film exhibition area, a silicon oxide stretch film, described as "thin as a cicada's wing, yet strong as a rock," attracted crowds. Less than 1% the diameter of a human hair, this material can withstand puncture tests at temperatures of 2200°C, improving battery safety by over 200%.
Breakthrough progress in the field of flexible battery substrates :
Polyimide film supports 100,000 bends and folds, providing an "unbreakable" energy skeleton for wearable devices;
Composite ceramic-graphene separators have achieved continuous coating production at the 100-meter level, driving a 30% reduction in the cost of all-solid-state batteries;
02 Semiconductor Exhibition: Accelerating the process of localization
Domestic substitution became the dominant theme in the semiconductor exhibition hall. The launch of the automotive-grade SiC power module caused a sensation, tripling electric vehicle charging speeds and reducing system losses by 50%, and has already secured orders exceeding one million yuan.

04 Clash of Ideas: Forum Outlines New Vision of Industrial Integration
More than 50 summit forums held during the exhibition became a source of ideas. At the main forum on "Technological Collaboration under the Goal of Carbon Neutrality", experts from three major industries reached a consensus:
"Semiconductor chips enable the response speed of energy storage control systems, new thin-film materials determine battery energy density, and AI algorithms optimize energy efficiency across the entire supply chain – the intersection of these three technologies will give rise to the next generation of energy solutions."
Outside the National Exhibition and Convention Center, the long taxi queues were punctuated by discussions in English, Japanese, and German. Engineers exchanged business cards bearing titles of chip design, energy storage operations and maintenance, and materials research and development— three once-parallel technological tracks now being forged into the alloy steel backbone supporting new productivity in Shanghai .
When semiconductor wafers meet energy storage cells, and when robot fingers lightly touch nanofilms, an industrial integration revolution driven by hard technology has begun.
