Perfluorohexanoic acid
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Perfluorohexanoic acid is a perfluorocarbon oxygen compound , such as undecanoic acid, which is a type of perfluoroalkyl anionic surfactant. It is a linear molecule with one end consisting of a hydrophobic and oleophobic carbon fluorine chain and the other end is a hydrophilic carboxyl group. Due to the characteristics of its amphiphilic molecules and carbon-fluorine bonds, perfluorocarboxylates have low surface tension, outstanding chemical stability and thermal stability, and are widely used in industrial production.
- Perfluorohexanoic acid is a colorless liquid with a characteristic pungent odor.
- It is highly stable, not easy to decompose, and has a high surface tension.
- It is highly stable, not easy to decompose, and has a high surface tension.
