BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This product is colorless crystal or white crystalline powder or granule or block; odorless.
This product is easily soluble in water and almost insoluble in ethanol.
Purpose (USE)
Analytical reagents, pH buffers. Used for preparing buffers, determining arsenic, antimony, phosphorus, aluminum and iron, preparing phosphorus standard solutions and various culture media for haploid breeding, determining inorganic phosphorus and alkaline acid enzyme activity in serum, preparing culture media for bacterial serum testing of Leptospira, etc. Also used for piezoelectric elements, electro-optical elements and the generation of laser light harmonics.

Physical and chemical properties
Colorless columnar crystals or white crystalline powder. Melting point 96℃; d 2.34. Stable in air. Soluble in about 4.5 parts of water, the aqueous solution is acidic, pH 4.4-4.7. Insoluble in ethanol. Dehydrated at 400℃ to form potassium metaphosphate.
