Terbium oxide
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Terbium oxide is a brown powder that is insoluble in water and ethanol, but can be dissolved in inorganic acids to form terbium salts. Terbium oxide has a high melting point and high stability. It is not easily soluble in water, but can be dissolved in acids at room temperature to form terbium salts. In addition, terbium oxide also has excellent optical, electrical and magnetic properties, such as high refractive index, high dielectric constant, low dielectric loss and good magnetic properties. These characteristics make terbium oxide have a wide range of application value in many fields.

USE
2.It is used as an additive for yttrium iron and yttrium aluminum garnet and a raw material for producing metallic terbium. It can also be used as an activator for phosphors and as a phosphor for X-ray intensifying paper.
3.Used as fluorescent material activator and garnet doping agent.
4.Grain boundary diffusion infiltration of magnetic material surface.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
1.Store in a dry, well-ventilated environment to protect it from moisture and oxidation.
2.Store in airtight moisture-proof bags or containers in a cool, dry place.
3.The storage environment should avoid high temperature, strong light and chemical corrosion.
4.The storage place should have good fire and explosion prevention measures, because terbium oxide may decompose at high temperature and release harmful gases.
PACKAGE
2. Other forms of packaging can be provided according to customer needs.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
2.Terbium oxide is a strong oxidant that can undergo redox reactions with a variety of compounds.
3.Terbium oxide has good optical and magnetic properties, which give it important application potential in high-tech fields.
