Urea Ammonium Nitrate Solution
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
UAN (urea ammonium nitrate aqueous solution) is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer characterized by high nitrogen content and high absorption rate.
As a type of liquid nitrogen fertilizer, UAN solution does not require the evaporation and granulation of liquid urea, thus consuming less energy and allowing for more even application into the soil. It contains nitrate nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, and amide nitrogen; the first two are absorbed by crops more quickly, while the amide nitrogen has a slightly delayed effect, giving it the combined benefits of both fast-acting and delayed-release fertilizers. Furthermore, its even application results in higher fertilizer efficacy than solid nitrogen fertilizers, and it can be injected into irrigation systems. UAN solution can be transported in tank cars by train because it operates at atmospheric pressure, ensuring safety and reducing transport volume.
